THE GIFTED: "EMERGENCE" - UPDATED
Fox has released a gallery of images from the Season 2 premiere on The Gifted.
The episode is titled "eMergece" and will air in the show's new time period, on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).
Here's how Fox describes the episode:
"Reeva Payge (Grace Byers) purges the Inner Circle of those who disagree with her, leaving her completely in charge. Then, fast-forward six months, when the Mutant Underground saves a girl, but not her family, from a Sentinel raid. Against the group's wishes, Eclipse and Caitlin meet with a criminal hacker to get info on the Inner Circle. Meanwhile, Polaris prepares for the birth of her baby, her contractions magnetizing anything metal and wreaking havoc. She also makes Andy promise to save the baby, no matter what."

NEW FAMILY GUY: Fox has released the following description for "Married With Cancer," the Season 16 premiere on Family Guy airing Sunday, September 30:
"In Part One of a special two-part story, Brian meets and quickly falls in love with a woman named Jess (guest-voice Casey Wilson), who reveals she has cancer. After she receives devastating news regarding her diagnosis, Brian proposes marriage to her."

NEW WYNONNA EARP: Syfy has released the following descriptions for "War Paint" and "Daddy Lessons," the episodes of Wynonna Earp airing Friday, September 28.
Here's how the network describes "War Paint:"
"The Pledge Moon looms over Purgatory as Wynonna and Waverly must find a way to end the family curse before their demonic foe puts an end to the Earp line -- and humanity -- once and for all."
Here's how the network describes "Daddy Lessons:"
"Wynonna has a run in with the Revenants that leads her to an unexpected revelation about the curse. Waverly meets an important figure from her past and Nicole tries to evacuate Purgatory, before it's too late."
WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Warner Bros.' The Nun brought in a projected $53.5 million to top the domestic box office over the weekend. Crazy Rich Asians was second with $13.6 million, and Peppermint was third with $13.2 million.
Ant-Man and the Wasp brought in $0.6 million, pushing its total to $214.8 million.
