NEW THE GIFTED: Fox has released the following description of "coMplications," the Tuesday, Oct. 9 episode of The Gifted:

"Polaris' baby begins to suffer from a deadly illness, leaving the Inner Circle unable to heal her, and prompting them to turn to an unexpected source for help. Meanwhile, Reed and Lauren take an excursion to deliver illegal meds, but Reed's powers complicate their plans. Then, Thunderbird and Blink meet the leader of the Morlocks -- a shadowy group of mutants that live underground -- who offers to help them find the Inner Circle, but the two factions may not have the same goals."

FRIDAY BOX OFFICE: The House With A Clock In Its Walls topped the domestic box office with an estimated $7.8 million, followed by A Simple Favor's $3.3 million.

The Predator was fourth with $2.4 million, pushing its total to $34.1 million. Incredibles 2 made $0.1 million, pushing its total to $605.9 million, and Ant-Man and The Wasp now stands at $215.6 million.

ETERNALS DIRECTOR: The Rider director Chloe Zhao has been set to direct The Eternals for Marvel. Matthew and Ryan Firpo are on board to pen the script with Marvel president Kevin Feige producing.
