MARVEL COMICS' SPIDER-MAN: LIFE STORY

Marvel Comics has announced a March launch for Spider-Man: Life Story, a six-issue series from writer Chip Zdarsky, with art by Mark Bagley and covers by Zdarsky and Marcos Martin.

Here's how Marvel describes the book:

"In 1962, the world watched as teenager Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider...allowing him to become the Amazing Spider-Man! It's been fifty-seven years since the Amazing Fantasy #15, the story that brought everyone's favorite wall-crawler into the Marvel Universe and jumpstarted some of the most adventurous super hero stories ever -- but what if Spider-Man had aged at the same rate as our world?

Join acclaimed writer Chip Zdarsky and superstar Spider-Man artist Mark Bagley for Spider-Man: Life Story -- a tale encompassing the entire history of Spider-Man from beginning to end, set against the key events of each decade! As the series kicks off in March, the year is 1966, and Peter Parker must determine where his power and responsibility truly lies as the nation becomes embroiled in the Vietnam War."

gI guess Ifm just not done with Spidey," Zdarsky said. "This is an idea I've had since I first started working for Marvel, something that explores the characters and the Marvel universe on a deeper level, where time changes both the characters and the world.

"Being able to span decades with one of the most iconic Spider-Man artists ever, Mark Bagley, is surreal. He's creating fresh takes on classic characters and moments in really dynamic ways."

MARVEL COMICS' DOMINO: HOTSHOTS

Marvel Comics has announced a March launch for Domino: Hotshots, a five-issue series from writer Gail Simone, artist David Baldeon and cover artist R.B. Silva.

Here's how Marvel describes the series:

"Domino. Black Widow. White Fox. Atlas Bear. Outlaw. Diamondback. This March, Marvel invites you to meet a dangerous crew of international women -- the newest group of hot shots to enter the Marvel Universe! Celebrated Domino creative team Gail Simone and David Baldeon are bringing you an all-new story filled with feisty femme fatales, intense action, mercenary adventures, and espionage."

"So, it's like this," Simone said. "Marvel came and said they love the team aspect of Domino and want to expand it even further. They said, you get to keep writing your favorite Marvel ladies, with your favorite Marvel artist, but on top of that, you get to add more amazing characters you love. It took about two seconds for me to say, 'I'm in, I am so in."

"Is it just me or is it getting hot in here? Marvel's greatest femmes fatale assembled for a very specific mission -- if they donft kill each other first, natch!" said series editor Chris Robinson. "After launching Domino to huge acclaim earlier this year, Ifm absolutely thrilled to have Gail and David bringing the Hotshots into the Marvel Universe -- and our hearts!"

"Domino feels she has to grow up a little, and some of the new agents have virtually NO sense of humor. And they find an object that is something very close to the heart of the entire Marvel Universe," Simone said. "The only problem is everybody wants it. We're having a blast. It's Domino, but with a bunch of the coolest characters in comics, kicking international covert butt and taking names. Best of all, it's drawn by the incredible David Baldeon. This is the stuff I most love writing, and David is the guy to draw it all and make it brilliant. I couldnft be happier. Where do we go from here? The Hotshots ain't telling."

The book is written by Saladin Ahmed, with art by Javier Garron and a cover by Brian Stelfreeze.

"It's very much intended for folks who might not know the character or might not even have read a Spider-Man comic, and for them to be able to access what's universal and what's immediately appealing about this character and about the Marvel Universe," Ahmed said.

COSMIC GHOST RIDER DESTROYS MARVEL HISTORY

The League star Paul Scheer re-teams with Far Cry writer Nick Giovannetti for Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History #1, the start of a new limited series, where the Cosmic Ghost Rider is stuck in the past.

So what's the Cosmic Guardian of Justice going to do? Rewrite the origins of the Marvel Universe, of course!

Who really gave the Fantastic Four their powers? Who brought The Amazing Spider-Man back after Spider-Man No More? Who found Captain America on ice before the Avengers did? Who saved Jean Grey from the Dark Phoenix Saga?

Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History #1 ships on March 6, with art by Gerardi Sandoval and a cover by Gerardo Zaffino.
