The CW has released images from "No Exit," the episode of Riverdale airing on Wednesday, January 16.

The network has yet to release a description for the episode, which serves as the show's midseason premiere.

CONAN THE BARBARIAN LAUNCH TRAILER

Marvel Comics has released a launch trailer for its Conan the Barbarian title that premiered this week.

The series is written by Jason Aaron, with art by Mahmud Asrar.

"I've wanted to write Conan pretty much the whole time I’ve been in comics," Aaron said. "I'm just trying to do a story that feels like that -- that feels like this is written by a guy who has wanted to tell stories of this character for most of his life. It's the book I've wanted to do since I was literally 13 years old, and Mahmud is the perfect artist for Conan."

BRIEFLY

BATWOMAN PILOT: The CW has ordered a pilot for Batwoman, spinning out of the network's Elseworlds crossover. The show will star Ruby Rose, with the first episode directed by David Nutter.

Here's how the show is described:

"Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don't call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham's symbol of hope."

MORE PUNISHMENT: Season 2 of Marvel's The Punisher will be available on Netflix on Friday, Jan. 18. Jon Bernthal returns as Frank Castle, with Ben Barnes back as Billy Russo, aka Jigsaw.

NEW GOTHAM: Here's how Fox describes "Penguin, Our Hero," the episode of Gotham scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 17.

"With the creation of Haven as a safe place for refugees, Gordon hopes to stop the gang-fighting in Gotham. Selina is determined to find Jeremiah and convinces Bruce to help her. Meanwhile, Penguin goes to Haven to reclaim his staff."
