ARROW: "SHATTERED LIVES"

The CW has released images and details from "Shattered Lives," the episode of Arrow premiering on Monday, Jan. 21.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Oliver (Stephen Amell) is ready to get back to work with the SCPD and to focus on his marriage with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). However, when Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) tasks Oliver with tracking the new Green Arrow (Sea Shimooka) things take a surprising turn. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (guest-star Audrey Marie Anderson) must answer to ARGUS about Diaz (Kirk Acevedo)."

Andi Armaganian directed the episode, written by Benjamin Raab and Deric A. Hughes.

SUPERGIRL: "SUSPICIOUS MINDS"

The CW has released images and details from "Suspicious Minds," the episode of Supergirl premiering on Sunday, January 20.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Colonel Haley (April Parker Jones) is upset after Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) responds to a distress call from a Navy ship that turned out to be a deadly alien attack. Colonel Haley reclaims the site as DEO territory and demands that Supergirl step aside. After Supergirl refuses to be told what to do, Haley refocuses her energy on finding out Supergirl's true identity and begins to interrogate all DEO agents, including Alex (Chyler Leigh). Meanwhile, Brainiac-5 (Jesse Rath) tries to persuade Nia (Nicole Maines) to embrace her superpowers but she misinterprets his motives."

Rachel Talalay directed the episode, written by Maria Maggenti and Gabriel Llanas.

THE CW'S SPRING SCHEDULE

The CW has announced its spring schedule, which will impact several of its comic book-based shows.

* iZombie will premiere its fifth and final season on Thursday, May 2 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

* DC's Legends of Tomorrow moves to a new time period of Mondays at 8 p.m. starting Monday, April 1, followed by Arrow at 9 p.m.

* The Black Lightning season finale will air Monday, March 18 at 9 p.m.

* The Flash will continues in its Tuesday at 8 p.m. period, with a new episode scheduled for April 30.

* Riverdale will continue in its Wednesday at 8 p.m. period, with a new episode scheduled for March 27.

BUFFY #4 VARIANT: BOOM! Studios has unveiled Kevin Wada's variant cover for Buffy the Vampire Slayer #4, featuring Xander Harris as a vlogger.

VALIANT HIRE: Valiant Entertainment has announced that Heather Antos has joined the company's editorial department.

Antos' first assignment will be working with writer Vita Ayala on the recently launched LIVEWIRE series. Antos will also develop a stable of her own titles and with her list of creator contacts. She'll also appear with the Valiant team at conventions and live events.

"I'm thrilled to announce the hiring of Heather Antos," said senior editorial director Robert Meyers. "Heather has a sterling reputation, from the launching of the Star Wars line at Marvel, to her recent work at Image on Injection and Bitter Root; she is the kind of voice we want at Valiant. With Heather joining us, we have a fully staffed Editorial department -- each member brings unique story viewpoints that will broaden and deepen the Valiant line. I look forward to reading the stories Heather develops within the Valiant Universe."
