THE FLASH: "KING SHARK VS. GORILLA GRODD"

The CW has released details and images from "King Shark vs. Gorilla Grodd," the episode of The Flash airing on Tuesday, March 5.

Here's how The CW describes the episode:

"When Gorilla Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov) attacks Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash find themselves teaming up with an unexpected ally to defeat -- King Shark (voiced by David Hayter). However, when they hit a snag, they bring in Dr. Tanya Lamden (guest star Zibby Allen) to try to reach the man behind the shark, Shay Lamden (guest-star Dan Payne)."

Stefan Pleszczynski directed the episode, written by Eric Wallace and Lauren Certo.

RIVERDALE: "CHAPTER FORTY-NINE: FIRE WALK WITH ME"

The CW has released images and details from "Chapter Forty-Nine: Fire Walk With Me," the episode of Riverdale airing on Wednesday, March 6.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Betty (Lili Reinhart) takes matters into her own hands when she learns that The Farm has set their sights on someone in her inner circle. Meanwhile, when Hiram (Mark Consuelos) and Gladys' (guest-star Gina Gershon) control over Veronica (Camila Mendes) becomes too much to handle, she sets a plan in motion to turn the tables on them. Elsewhere, Archie (KJ Apa) grows concerned about a young runaway he meets at the gym, while Jughead (Cole Sprouse) struggles to maintain control over the Serpents."

Marisol Adler directed the episode, written by Aaron Allen.

STAR WARS RESISTANCE: "THE DISAPPEARED"

Disney Channel and Lucasfilm have released details and images from "The Disappeared," the episode of Star Wars Resistance premiering on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).

TRANSFORMERS / GHOSTBUSTERS

Spinning out of the reveal that a Transformers-Ghostbusters Collaborative figure, the ECTO-1 ECTOTRON, IDW Publishing has announced that the franchises will unite for a Transformers/Ghostbusters mini-series debuting in June.

In the first chapter of the "Ghost of Cybertron" storyline, the Autobots -- having escaped from the war that destroyed their home planet -- trace a stray Cybertronian signal to the planet Earth. Investigating the otherworldly source will bring the Robots in Disguise face-to-face with the renowned professionals of paranormal investigation and elimination: Venkman, Spengler, Stantz and Zeddmore.

"If you are troubled by strange noises in the middle of the night, or if you or any of your family have ever seen a Decepticon in your basement or attic, donft wait another minute: this is the crossover series for you," said Michael Kelly, Hasbro's vice president of global publishing.

Written and illustrated by the long-time Ghostbusters creative team of Erik Burnham, Dan Schoening and Luis Antonio Delgado, Transformers / Ghostbusters will span five issues, with the first issue's variant covers featuring the art of Schoening, Paulina Ganucheau, Nick Roche and Alex Milne.

"1984 was a seismic shift for entertainment, the year that launched both Transformers and Ghostbusters," said John Barber, IDW editor-in-chief. "Back then, Little John Barber was right there for Transformers and a little scared of Ghostbusters -- but now, I'm a bit braver and can't wait to see the two worlds collide. Seriously, it's amazing to think that these sets of characters would be more alive and relevant in 2019 than ever before... and will be coming together in an unprecedented way right here at IDW!"
