BRIEFLY
SONJA COLLECTED: The Dynamite Entertainment series Queen Sonja will be recollected in a set of two paperback omnibus volumes, with the first out in October.
Queen Sonja Omnibus Volume 1 reprints the first 15 issues of the series. The 396-page paperback volume, written by Joshua Ortega, Arvid Nelson and current Birth of the She-Devil scribe Luke Lieberman, with art by Mel Rubin and Jackson Herbrt and a cover gallery including a dozen paintings from Lucia Parrillo.
BOOM! FIRST LOOKS: For covers and three-page preview of Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Chosen Ones #1, arriving in stores on Wednesday, on August 28 from BOOM! Studios, CLICK HERE.
FRIDAY BOX OFFICE: The Lion King topped Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, $22.3 million to $16.8 million, to finish No. 1 at the domestic box office on Friday. The take pushed The Lion King's total to $297.5 million.
Spider-Man: Far From Home was third with $3.5 million, pushing its total to $335.7 million. Avengers: Endgame was 11th with $0.2 million, pushing its total to $855.7 million.
