Valiant Entertainment has released artwork and details from Rai, a series from writer Dan Abnett and artist Juan Jose Rup that debuts Nov. 28.
Here's how the book is described:
"The cyborg samurai, Rai, embarks on a thrilling quest to save the future in a journey that will introduce new worlds, new characters, and gripping adventures."
"It's got a blend of action, sci-fi, a little horror and a lot of character. I think it's a very distinctive book that has its own special feel," Abnett said.
"Everything is part of a great puzzle! The story surprises me by its crazy coherence. It is magnificent," Ryp said.
Rai also features colors by Andrew Dalhouse, letters by Dave Sharpe and covers by Ryp, Adam Pollina and Jose Ladron.
