ARROW: "STARLING CITY"
The CW has released images from "Starling City," the Season 8 premiere episode of Arrow airing on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
There's no episode description yet, but here's how The CW describes the season:
"Following the untimely arrival of godlike being The Monitor, Oliver Queen left his home, his family, and his team behind to take on his most challenging battle yet, knowing the cost may be his life. But this time it's not just his city he's seeking to protect -- it's the entire multiverse: everything that ever was or ever will be. Oliver's quest will send him on a journey where he is forced to look back at his years as the Green Arrow and confront the reality of the ultimate question: what is the true cost of being a hero?"

PREACHER: "FEAR OF THE LORD"
AMC has released images and a description from "Fear of the Lord," the episode of Preacher airing on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).
Here's how AMC describes the episode:
"Cassidy and Tulip hide Humperdoo from the Grail, whose operatives are now serach both for their messiah -- and Starr. A tempted Jesse considers a powerful offer."

MORE HOWARD BOOKS FROM MARVEL
Marvel Comics has announced that more characters from the mind of Conan creator Robert E. Howard will be featured, including Dark Agnes, Solomon Kane annd more.
"Our readers cannot get enough of Conan, and luckily, we have plenty more to give them," said editor Mark Basso. "We're very excited for readers and the heroes of the Marvel Universe to meet or reunite with more characters from the legendary Robert E. Howard mythos!"
"With their world-building and storytelling expertise, we're happy that Marvel now will go deeper into the Howardverse to explore more of all his fantastic characters, and spinning new, exiting yarns," said Joakim Zetterberg, executive vice president at Conan Properties.
According to Marvel, details on the projects will be revealed soon.

NEWS FLASH: The CW has released key poster art for the upcoming season of The Flash.
The poster features, from left, Hartley Sawyer as Dibney, Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Grant Gustin as The Flash and Danielle Panabaker as Killer Frost.
The new season kicks off on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
