MARVEL TOPS SEPTEMBER SALES
Marvel Comics again topped sales for September, according to figures released by Diamond Distributors.
Marvel had 38.81 percent of the dollar share, to 27.80 percent for second-place DC Comics. Marvel had 45.51 percent of the unit share, to 29.15 percent for DC.

BUFFY DETAILS: BOOM! Studios has released details about January's Buffy the Vampire Slayer #11, which will feature the first appearance of Kendra Young and is from writer Jordie Bellaire and artist David Lopez.
Here's how BOOM! describes the issue;
"With a new Slayer in town, it's up to Team Kendra to save the day! An evil and powerful magic from the open Hellmouth has taken over the men of Sunnydale, and it's up to Willow, Cordelia, and the new Chosen One, Kendra, to fend off the enthralled men of the town or there won't be a Sunnydale for Buffy to come back to! That is . . . if she's coming back at all."

DEADPOOL TEASER: Marvel Comics has released a third teaser image for November's Deadpool #1, the premiere issue of the series from Kelly Thompson and Chris Bachalo.

DANO IN THE BATMAN: Paul Dano has signed on to play The Riddler in The Batman, Warner Bros. has announced. Dano's version of the character will be named Edward Nashton.
The film will begin shooting in January and is expected to be in theaters on June 25, 2021.
