SUPERGIRL: "THE BOTTLE EPISODE"
The CW has released images and details from "The Bottle Episode," the episode of Supergirl premiering on Sunday, Jan. 19.
Here's how the network describes the episode:
"The subsequent complications from the Crisis leave Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) to face a chaotic threat."
Tawnia McKiernan directed the episode, with story by Derek Simon and teleplay by Nicki Holcomb and Jen Troy

STAR WARS RESISTANCE: "REBUILDING THE RESISTANCE"

Disney Channel and Lucasfilm have released details and images from "Rebuilding the Resistance," the episode of Star Wars Resistance premiering on Sunday, Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. (ET/PT) on Disney XD and at 10 p.m. on Disney Channel.
Here's how the episode is described:
"Resistance recruits need an escort getting off of Dantooine, but, unfortunately, Tam is assigned to destroy the recruits."

MARVEL COMICS' EMPYRE
Marvel Comics has released Jim Cheung's cover for Emprye #1, in stores in April.
The book comes from writers Al Ewing, Dan Slott and artist Valerito Schiti.
In preparation for the event, Marvel has been revisiting the classic stories that have led up to it. In the teasers, the industry's top artists have reenvisioned events such as the Kree-Skrull War and its aftermath, the Celestial Madonna Saga, and the story of Kree-Skrull born Teddy Altman, also known as the Young Avenger Hulkling.
According to Marvel, it will announce later this week the other titles where readers can follow this event.
Marvel's fourth teaser came with the tagline, "The Saga of a Young Avenger Set the Final Stage."

MARVEL'S CHINESE COVERS: Marvel Comics has unveiled three connecting Chinese New Year variant covers by Jie Yuan.
Click on the thumbnail for a larger look at the variants for Symbiote Spider-Man: Alien Reality #3, Amazing Spider-Man #39 and Gwen Stacy #1.
The covers are a result of Marvel teaming with Wacom, a company popular with artists for their state-of-the-art graphic tablets, for a nation-wide talent serach.
"It was a thrill for me to visit art schools and conventions around China last year as part of this massive talent search," said CB Cebulski, Marvel's editor-in-chief. "We reviewed hundreds of submissions and these covers are by the artists whose unique visual styles we felt best captured the Marvel characters. We hope fans love them as much as we do as Marvel continues our global approach to discovering diverse artistic voices!"
The covers will be available on Feb. 12.

NEW BATWOMAN: Here's how The CW describes "An Un-Birthday Present," the episode of Batwoman airing Sunday, Jan. 26:
"On the Kane sisters' birthday, Kate (Ruby Rose) and Alice (Rachel Skarsten) contend with demons from the past, and an unexpected guest makes a surprise appearance in Gotham."
Mairzee Almas directed the episode, written by Chad Fiveash and James Stoteraux.
