MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.: "BRAND NEW DAY"

ABC has released a description and images from "Brand New Day," the episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premiering on Wednesday, August 5 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).

Here's how the episode is described:

"With the help of Kora on the inside, Sibyl and Nathanial continue their fight to shape a dark new future for S.H.I.E.L.D., managing to stay one step ahead of the agents along the way. If the team is going to turn this one around, they'll have to get creative, and maybe even a little out of this world."

"Brand New Day" was written by Chris Freyer and directed by Keith Potter.

SYFY RATINGS: Syfy's Wynonna Earp cult returned to air after a 2-year hiatus for Season 4 with an impressive 1.2 million multiplatform views. The premiere episode delivered 656,000 P2+ in L3, besting the Season 3 premiere by 11 percent.

"Wynonna Earp is a bona fide phenomenon," said Chris McCumber, president, entertainment metworks -- USA & Syfy. "Not only did it return for its fourth season stronger than its third, the resilience and passion of the Earpers continues to shine across social media, 'cons and more."

Due to the enforced production break caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the first six episodes will culminate in a mid-season finale on Sunday, August 30 at Syfy. Production on the final six episodes of the fourth season has resumed in Calgary.

Syfy Wire's first original documentary Todd McFarlane: Like Hell I Wonft made its world premiere on Saturday, July 25 following a successful SDCC@Home panel and brought total multiplatform viewers to 400,000, and the SDCC@Home panel, SYFY Presents: The Untold Tales of Todd McFarlane, took in 1 million views.
