WONDER WOMAN: EARTH ONE VOL. 3
DC Comics has set a March 9 release date for Wonder Woman: Earth One Vol. 3, from writer Grant Morrison and artist Yanick Paquette.
Here's how DC describes the book:
"Diana, now queen of the Amazons, must assemble the disparate Amazonian tribes for the first time in a millennium. Max Lord's assault on Paradise Island with his destructive A.R.E.S. armors is on the horizon, and in order to weather the war that is coming, Wonder Woman will need the full might of her sisters by her side! Can Diana finally bring her message of peace to Man's World, or will Max Lord's war burn the world and the Amazons to ashes?"
Continuing the tradition of the Earth One tales that deliver creative new interpretations of DC's super heroes, Wonder Woman: Earth One Vol. 3 is Morrison and Paquette’s final installment of the trilogy of graphic novels.
NEW BIG HERO 6 EPISODES
Disney XD has released synopses and art from "Trading Chips" and "Mini Noodle Burger Max," the episodes of Big Hero 6 debuting on Monday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. (ET).
Here's how the network describes the "Trading Chips" episode:
"Hiro switches Baymax's chip with Mini-Max's so that Baymax can rescue Mochi."
Here's how the network describes the "Mini Noodle Burger Max" episode:
"A low-charged Baymax and Mini-Max join forces with Noodle Burger Boy to save Big Hero 6."
BRIEFLY
VALIANT PUZZLES: Valiant Entertainment is partnering with Mighty Mojo Toys for new puzzles.
The Valiant Comics Universe Jigsaw Puzzle and the Bloodshot Jigsaw Puzzle are both 500-piece puzzles now retaling for $14.99.
"We're thrilled to partner with Valiant and have the opportunity to create some pretty cool toys worthy of the Bloodshot characters," said Caryl Liebmann, vice president of licensing and business development at Mighty Mojo Toys.
Said Russ Brown, Valiant's president of consumer products, promotions & ad sales, said "Valiant fans new and old have expressed interest in great cover art in puzzle form. As a result we are delighted to launch this month with Mighty Mojo. And fans should definitely be excited for what's to come from this collaboration."
