BRIEFLY

OLSEN TALKS WANDAVISION: Elizabeth Olsen continued to promote WandaVision during an appearance on Good Morning America on Monday.

"Wanda and Vision are living their lives in the suburbs and they are just trying to fit in and not get found out for being super-heroes," Olsen said. "But yet not everything is exactly as it seems."

Her favorite sitcom era?

"I think it was really fun to do the Brady Bunch 70s era because I feel like that's when we were trying to create the most ideal version of the American family," Olsen said. "it's kind of ridiculous and fun to play something that is so far away from reality as we know it."

Olsen is getting ready to shoot Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

"There's never much we can talk about at Marvel," Olsen said. "But I do think what Wandavision is a natural progression into what happens in Doctor Strange 2 and I think that Kevin Feige is doing an amazing job intertwining the television format with the film so that we can tell more interesting stories moving forward."

NEW RIVERDALE: Here's how The CW describes "Chapter Seventy-Eight: The Preppy Murders," the Wednesday, Jan 27 episode of Riverdale:

"Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Jughead's (Cole Sprouse) investigation into the auteur takes a twisted turn after receiving a call from Bret (guest-star Sean Depner). Meanwhile, Archie (KJ Apa) is forced to make an impossible decision when the person responsible for his father's death needs his help. Elsewhere, Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Hermosa (guest-star Mishel Prada) come up with a plan to force Hiram (Mark Consuelos) into early retirement, and Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) makes a business move.

Gabriel Correa directed the episode, written by Janine Salinas Schoenberg and Devon Turner.

BOX OFFICE REPORT: Wonder Woman 1984 again topped the box office over the weekend, pulling in $3.0 million to push its total to $32.6. The movie has taken in $131.4 million globally.
