SMALLVILLE: THE COMPLETE SERIES 20TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced an Oct. 19 release for Smallville: The Complete Series 20th Anniversary Edition.
This set features all 218 episodes along with over 28 hours of bonus features from all 10 seasons, plus Digital Copy. It is priced to own at $179.99 for Blu-ray and $154.99 for DVD.
Here's how Warner descrbies the series:
"The groundbreaking, Emmy-winning 10-season hit that redefined the origins of the world's greatest super hero is all here -- from Krypton refugee Kal-El's arrival on Earth through his tumultuous teen years to Clark Kent's final steps toward embracing his destiny as the Man of Steel. Relive a decade's worth of thrills in fantastic adventures full of action, heart and humor in abundance, all anchored by the marvelous performance of Tom Welling at its center. Savor again the series' thoughtful and imaginative integration and reinvention of the iconic characters of DC lore. And let your spirits be lifted up, up and away."
The show starred Tom Welling as Clark Kent, Allison Mack as Chloe Sullivan, Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang, Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor, John Glover as Lionel Lutheor, Erica Durance as Lois Lane, Annette O'Toole as Martha Kent, John Schneider as Jonathan Kent, Justin Hartley as Oliver Queen, Sam Jones III as Pete Ross, Cassidy Freeman as Tess Merceer, Aaron Ashmore as Jimmy Olsen, Eric Johnson as Whitney Fordman, Laura Vadervoort as Kara, Callum Blue as Zod, Jensen Ackles as Jason Teague and Sam Witwer as David Bloome.
Among the series' guest-stars were Terence Stamp, James Marsters, Michael McKean, Ian Somerhalder, Jane Seymour, Brian Austin Green, Pam Grier, Helen Slater, Michael Ironside, Julian Sands, Tori Spelling, Rutger Hauer and Christopher Reeve.
Based on DC Comics characters, Smallville was developed for television by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Its executive producers included Michael Tollin, Brian Robbins, Joe Davola, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, James Marshall, Brian Peterson, Kelly Souders, Todd Slavkin, Darren Swimmer, Greg Beeman, Ken Horton and Tom Welling. The series is from Tollin/Robbins Productions, Millar/Gough Ink and Warner Bros. Television.
Smallville: The Complete Series 20th Anniversary Edition includes two DVD discs with over 28 hours of bonus features originally released on the Smallville Seasons 1-10 DVD sets. The 42-disc set collects 154 hours of conent.
FANTASTIC FOUR 60TH ANNIVERSARY

Marvel Comics is celebrating the 60th anniversary of Fantastic Four with a giant-sized #35, available on Sept. 1.
Joining writer Dan Slott will be artist John Romita Jr., marking hiis return to Marvel with the issue. In addition to drawing a story within this epic issue, Romita Jr.'s beloved style will also grace the issue in the form of a wraparound cover. Highlighting Reed, Sue, Ben, and Johnny's transformation since Stan Lee and Jack Kirby first created them, the artwork serves as both a celebration of Fantastic Four's journey and a teaser of the story inside: a showdown across Fantastic Four history against the master of time travel, Kang the Conqueror.
"I was lucky to begin my career with Marvel and now am extremely lucky to re-connect with Marvel. That's an enormous amount of good fortune. I sincerely thank all the folks up at Marvel, and Disney, who worked for this fortunate re-connection to happen," Romita said. "To add to all this, and I hate to add a third section to my good fortune, is the opportunity to start off with a huge project, which is the 60th anniversary of the Fantastic Four! It is an honor and extreme privilege to be asked to work on this along with a friend and former collaborator, Dan Slott! Along with ink artist JP Mayer, I am looking forward to this being up for viewing in August!"
