NEW SUPERGIRL: Here's how The CW describes "Welcome Back, Kara!," the episode of DC's Stargirl, scheduled for Tuesday, August 24:
"As Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Zor-El (guest-star Jason Behr) make their return to National City, they are determined to keep the Phantom Zone behind them and enjoy being superheroes together. Unfortunately, their overzealous efforts backfire, creating a whole new threat to National City."
Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode, written by Dana Horgan and Jay Faerber.
NEW RIVERDALE: Here's how The CW describes "Chapter Eighty-Nine: Reservoir Dogs," the episode of Riverdale, scheduled for Wednesday, August 25:
"While helping Eric (guest-star Sommer Carbuccia) deal with his PTSD, Archie (KJ Apa) is forced to confront his own past trauma in the Army. To find the Lonely Highway killer, Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Tabitha (Erinn Westbrook) come up with a way to lure truckers to Pop's. Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) extends an invitation to Kevin (Casey Cott) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) gives Reggie (Charles Melton) a shot to prove her wrong."
