MONKEY PRINCE: DC Comics has announced a Feb. 1 launch for Monkey Prince, a 12-issue series.
Here's how DC describes the book:
"Inspired by the 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West, DC's newest shape-shifting super hero, the Monkey Prince, a.k.a. Marcus Sun, is returning to headline his own series! The news broke today during DC FanDome when a cover by artist Bernard Chang and a variant cover by artist Stanley "Artgerm" Lau debuted. The first issue will also have a special team variant cover by Zao Dao
MORE WONDER; Wonder Woman will be returning for another big-screen installment.
"We are all excited about some things coming up with Wonder Woman 3," said director Patty Jenkins during DC Fandome.
"Even if I did know you'd have to kill me to talk about it," said Lynda Carter, who played the character in the television seires.
VERY BRIEFLY: The first Milestone Medium is producing its first animated feature, "with more than one character," according to Denys Cowan. ... Blood Syndicate will be returning from Milestone Comics. ... Pennyworth will move to HBO Max from Epix for Season 3.
