FRIDAY BOX OFFICE: Dune topped the box office in its opening day on Friday, pulling in $17.5 million.
Halloween Kills was second with $4.5 million, pushing its total to $63.1 milliion. Venom: Let There Be Carnage placed fourth with $2.4 million, pushing its total to $175.1 million. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was ninth with $0.6 million, pushing its total to $219.5 million.
VERY BRIEFLY: IDW Publishing's Canto III: Lionhearted #6 closes the mini-series and sets up Canto IV, the final chapter of Canto's journey.
