FEAR THE WALKING DEAD RENEWAL, CAST ADDITION
AMC has announced the renewal of Fear the Walking Dead for an eighth season with Kim Dickens, who played Madison Clark in Seasons 1 through 4, set to return to the series.
Dickens will make her first appearance in the second half of Season 7, returning Sunday, April 17 on AMC, and continue as a series regular in Season 8.
All episodes of Fear the Walking Dead continue to be available one week early on AMC+, beginning on April 10.

"If there were a Mt. Deadmore, Kim Dickens' face would be on it. Madison Clark is a foundational character to TWDU, heroic, complex, an everyperson who becomes a warrior and then a force of benevolence," said Scott M. Gimple, Chief Content Officer of The Walking Dead Universe. "Kim Dickens' raw talent, strength, and brilliance will electrify TWDU once more and we couldn't be luckier to have her back."
Here's how the network sets up the show:
"In the second half of Season 7, months have passed after the nuclear blast and the only one thriving is Victor Strand (Colman Domingo). Having built a fiefdom, he callously selects who will have a chance at life. The other members of the group have suffered immensely, but out of that, has come a fierce determination to live, even if it means taking Strand's Tower by force and continuing the search for Padre, a mythical place no one is sure really exists. Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey,) now the reluctant leader to Teddy's former followers, is plagued by a mysterious illness and the repercussions of her past actions. Morgan (Lennie James,) trying to maintain hope that he will be reunited with his family, knows Alicia is key to their survival. With Alicia declaring war, Strand's paranoia and personal vendettas grow, and with that, new threats emerge from all sides."
Fear the Walking Dead is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert and is produced by AMC Studios.
DESTINY OF X
Rising out of the ashes of Inferno and emerging out of the time-travelling mission in X Lives of Wolverine/X Deaths of Wolverine comes The Second Krakoan Age of X-Men: Destiny of X from Marvel Comics.
This new era will kick off with new titles such as Immortal X-Men, Knights of X, Legion of X, and X-Men Red, a new creative team takeover on Marauders, and status quo changes for continuing titles X-Men, X-Force, New Mutants and Wolverine.
Marvel has released a new promotional image by Leini Francis Yu and Sunny Gho, a group shot starring some of the major players of the franchise's upcoming sagas.
"The journey of the Krakoan Age is far from over," said editor Jordan D. White. "Our long-term plan that all our creators have been working on in our secret council chamber has only just begun to come to fruition. With the filling of the two empty council seats, the Reign of X has ended, and it's time for mutantkind to reach for their destiny."
THE AMAZING SCREW-ON HEAD
Dark Horse Comics will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mike Mignola and Dave Stewart's seminal graphic novel The Amazing Screw-On Head and Other Curious Objects with the publication of a new hardcover edition, which features 40 pages of new material.
The hardcover edition will include 19 pages of the never completed, never-before-published Axorr, Slayer of Demons story, written and drawn by Mignola.
"As proud as I am of the Hellboy stuff, the stories that make up the Screw-On Head collection are actually my favorite things I¡¯ve done," Mignola said. "They are the most me, they are as close as you're going to get to looking inside my head and seeing the stuff that runs around in there. A while back I started work on another of my odd non-Hellboy things, Axorr, Slayer of Demons. Eventually I hit a snag and never finished it, but was really happy with the 19 pages I did finish, and I'm super happy that they are finding a home here in the new expanded 20th anniversary edition of this book. This is where they belong. If there is just one true Mignola book to have, I think this is it."
Here's how the book is described:
"Emperor Zombie is trying to take over the world once again. The Amazing Screw-On Head has been enlisted by President Lincoln to stop the evil emperor, with the help of his faithful partner Mr. Groin and his trusty canine companion Mr. Dog. Screw-On Head will have to brave ancient tombs and defeat demons from a dimension inside a turnip, just one of the strange and mischievous tales in this beloved collection."
"This anniversary edition does more than revisit a now-classic book of Mike's, it adds to it with unpublished comic pages and new illustrations," said Dark Horse editor Katii O'Brien. "Between this and our one-shot Sir Edward Grey: Acheron, written and drawn entirely by Mike, this is a great time to be a fan of his art."

The Amazing Screw-On Head Anniversary Edition will be available from Dark Horse Comics in comic-book stores on June 22, and in bookstores on July 5.
