KILL LOCK RETURNS: IDW Publishing has announced a March launch for The Kill Lock: The Artisan Wraith, a sequel mini-series from Livio Ramondelli.

"Making the first series was one of the best experiences of my life, and I'm ecstatic that the reception to it has allowed the story of these characters and their world to continue,," said Ramondelli.

Here's how IDW describes the series:

"The new Artisan Wraith storyline picks up where the first volume left off, the four criminals having managed to escape destruction... albeit not without complications. One of their number -- the smartest and most malicious -- now inhabits an unbreakable body and has a planet at his command. The authorities can not let this stand, deploying two of the deadliest assassins in the universe to eliminate this threat."

"The central premise of The Artisan Wraith is: If you had both the might and the mind to remake the faults that you see in society, would you improve it or create something worse?" Ramondelli said. "The scope of this series is larger than the first, and will explore not only the future of the prior characters, but also introduce new ones as well as explore the dark origins of their universe."

RECKONING WAR: Marvel Comics has announced a March 16 release for Reckoning War: Trial of the Watcher, by Dan Slott and Javier Rodriguez.

The issue is central to the Reckoning War saga, which kicks off in Fantastic Four: Reckoning War Alpha #1 on Feb. 2 and continues in Fantastic Four.

Here's how Marvel describes the event:

"The story will shed light on the First War that rocked the Marvel Universe, a conflict that preceded Asgard, Galactus, and all the heroes you know and love. That war will now reignite and only the Fantastic Four can defend the universe from the chaos it will unleash. Central to the action will be the Watcher, who has a shocking tale to tell."

"In all of the Multiverse, there is only one 'What If...' world that Uatu has avoided watching , one 'What If...' that he never wished to see. And now it will be revealed. The story that could damn him for all time...and a revelation that could change everything in this universe."
