Here's how BOOM! describes the story:

"Maceo and Mezzy have never met anyone like each other, and they'll need all the help they can get to survive a planet ravaged by environmental catastrophe. This epic 15-issue trilogy spans a lifetime as the dark mysteries of a ruined world and their own stark differences tear at the threads holding Maceo and Mezzy together... Will they, and the earth beneath their feet, ultimately be torn apart?"

"If I had to describe how I feel working on this book, it would be as if I had won a plane ticket to one of the strangest and most beautiful places on earth, the kind of universe where you can find gems buried in a dumpster world," Tefenkgi said. "Contrast is the name of the game, and Jason has created an original and captivating tale that I'm looking forward to bringing before your eyes."

"Alex imbues these characters with such life and emotion that we can't help but want to follow them across the ruined wasteland and see where their story leads," Aaron said. "It's a story that begins with two children, meeting each other in a tower by the sea, but it's most definitely not a children's story. And in Alex's hands, the end of the world has never looked more beautiful or harrowing."

The first issue featurs covers by Tefenkgi, Mike Del Mundo, Junggeun Yoon and Jenny Frison.

SHE-HULK TALK: During her conversation with SiriusXM's Jess Cagle and Julia Cunningham, She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany talked about how she wants her character to team up with Black Widow so that she can work with Florence Pugh on a Marvel movie.
