STORM VARIANT: Marvel Comics has unveiled the variant cover to Storm #1 by Stanley "Artgerm" Lau.

Here's how Marvel describes the five-issue title, by Ann Nocenti and Sid Kotian and debuting on May 24:

Storm's upcoming limited series will take fans back to her early leadership days by revealing an untold saga set during the character's fan-favorite 'punk' era! WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: Avatar: The Way of Water topped the domestic box offiice over the weekend with $20.0 million, pushing its total to $592.8 million. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever placed 10th with $1.2 million, pushing its total $451.7 million.

BOOM! STAFFING: BOOM! Studios announced that it has promoted and hired several key employees in the sales and marketing teams.

Grecia Martinez has been promoted to marketing coordinator. Anthony Mauro has joined the company as the marketing lead. Adrian Lopez has joined the company as the social media producer and Austin Fraley as sales assistant.
