ASTONISHING CREATORS: Marvel Comics has announced that writer Matthew Rosenberg and artist Greg Land are taking over as the creative team on Astonishing X-Men with #13 in July. They're taking Beast, Dazzler, Colossus, Havok and Warpath on a new adventure.
"We're taking a slightly different approach to our X-Men on this team," Rosenberg said. "The reasons they are together and what their mission is means that they are playing a role in the Marvel Universe that the X-Men haven't played in a while."
Astonishing X-Men #13 will be in stores on July 4.
AMAZING VARIANT: Marvel Comics has unveiled Terry Dodson's variant cover for Amazing Spider-Man #800, arriving in stores on May 30. Click on the thumbnail for a larger image.
LIGHTNING STRIKES: Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced a June 26 releases for Black Lightning: The Complete First Season on Blu-ray and DVD.
The set will contain all 13 episodes from the first season, as well as the following bonus features:
Black Lightning Comic-Con panel; A Family of Strength; Black Lightning Come Visit Georgia; Gag Reel and Deleted Scenes.
VERY BRIEFLY: Netflix has picked up Marvel's Jessica Jones for a third season. ... Sebastian Stan, who plays The Winter Soldier, will discuss Avengers: Infinity War Friday, April 20 on CBS' The Talk.
