MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
ABC has released a description for "Alien Commies from the Future!," the Wednesday, June 10 episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Here's how the episode is described:
"A surprise leap forward in time has stranded Enoch in 1931 and landed the team in yet another unfamiliar decade. Now, in order to stop the chronicoms from launching their newest future-dismantling plan, the agents will have to infiltrate one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most secure bases. They won't be able to succeed without help from a familiar face or two."
Guest starring is Enver Gjokaj, Tobias Jelinek, Julian Acosta, Michael Gaston and Tamara Taylor.
"Alien Commies from the Future!" was written by Nora Zuckerman and Lilla Zuckerman and directed by Nina Lopez-Corrado.
TAIKA WAITITI ON MARVEL FILMS
Taika Waititi, appearing on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers, said it is a bit easier adapting pre-existing material.
"It's like an adaptation of something, using source material. I didn't have to make up any characters, just make them do funny things," he said.
"Definitely on something like the Marvel films, it's really fun. You look at the comic and say, 'What about this character? OK. I'll give it a go.'"
Waititi is lined up to direct Thor: Love and Thunder, a sequel to his Thor: Ragnarok, as well as a Star Wars movie.

DEADPOOL, MAXIMUM VENOM: Diamond Distributors has unveiled two more of its San Diego 2020 exclusives:
The Marvel Deadpool Zombie 1/6 Bust from Diamond Select Toys is now available for order for $99.99.
The 1/6 scale resin bust of Deadpool shows him fully zombified, with mottled skin and exposed muscle. Limited to only 1,000 pieces, it comes packaged in a full-color box with a numbered certificate of authenticity and is a Gentle Giant Ltd. release.
The Marvel Maximum Venom Special Previews Exclusive Figure Set from Beast Kingdom.
The release is a special edition a set of two figures in 3-inch MEA (Mini Egg Attack) from the Maximum Venom figure collection.
Taking two of the most famous characters from Marvel -- Spider-Man and Iron Man -- and poisoning them with the symbiotic goo of Venom, the special edition sees the characters in the midst of transformation. Including a unique special edition base for both, the black Venom is taking over the bodies of both characters.
Spider-Man's classic red-and-blue costume is already half taken over into a black and white classic Venom look. Meanwhile Iron Man's fusion is taking the suite to the brink of explosion. A translucent red and metallic sheen showcases the menacing looking character.
Both are limited to 2000 pieces.
VERY BRIEFLY: Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be a guest on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, June 11.
