DEVIL'S DUE DIGESTS

Devil's Due is launching a new line of black-and-white digests in January called D3.

Kicking off the D3 line are collected volumes of Patrick the Wolf Boy, and Misplaced. Both titles are priced at $10.95, with new short stories included. Digests will range from 128 to 144 pages of content.

Here's a rundown of the initial offerings:

JANUARY

* Patrick the Wolf Boy, written by Franco Aureliani, with art by Art Baltazar. This D3 collects the following: Patrick the Wolf Boy #1, Patrick the Wolf Boy: Christmas Special, Patrick the Wolf Boy: Valentine's Special, Patrick the Wolf Boy: Mother's Day Special Summer Special and 25 pages of new Patrick stuff.

* Misplaced Vol. I, written and art by Josh Blaylock with Clint Hilinski. This collects the four-issue story arc and includes a new eight-page story, production art and more.

FEBRUARY

*Penguin Bros, written and art by Josh Blaylock. Self-published by the Blaylock in the mid-nineties, PB was a small press success across conventions nationwide, but never received mainstream exposure. Includes issues 1-3, the never-before-printed issue 4, and a new eight-page story and cover by Blaylock. "Looking at these old pages makes it seem like this book was a lifetime ago," said Blaylock. I'm glad the comedy still holds up, and I'm glad a wider audience now gets a chance to experience their irreverence."

MARCH

* G.I. Joe: Arashikage Showdown, written by Josh Blaylock, with art by Tony Tamai. As the last surviving links to the lineage of the Arashikage Ninja Clan, Snake-Eyes, Jinx and Storm Shadow embark on an adventure to recover a mystical clan artifact long thought to be a myth. This is an original story, never before seen in any other format.
