BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD FOR MARCH

Cartoon Network has announced three new episodes of Batman: The Brave and the Bold for March.

Following is a rundown:

Friday, March 6: "Game Over for Owlman!" -- On Earth, Owlman has been perpetrating crimes disguised as Batman and assembled all the villains to join him.

Friday, March 13: "Mystery in Space!" -- On his birthday, a melancholy Aquaman joins Batman for a space adventure on Adam Strange's home planet of Rann.

Friday, March 20: "Trials of the Demon!" -- In 19th century London, Jason Blood -- aka The Demon Etrigan -- has been framed for supernatural attacks perpetrated by Gentleman Ghost.

WATCHMEN ROUNDUP

DC Direct on Tuesday announced it is rush-soliciting a new assortment of Watchmen movie action figures following expectations of the first two assortments running out soon.

The Watchmen Movie: Restock Action Figure Assortment will include a weighted master case with 12 action figures -- four Rorschach, two The Comedian, two Dr. Manhattan, two Nite Owl (modern), one Silk Spectre (modern) and one Ozymandias. There will also be a weighted half case with six figures -- two Rorschach, two The Comedian, one Dr. Manhattan, one Nite Owl (modern) and either one Silk Spectre (modern) and one Ozymandias.

There will also be solid cases for Rorschach, The Comedian, Dr. Manhattan, Nite Owl (modern), Silk Spectre (modern) and Ozymandias.

The restock assortments will be in stores on June 17.

* Malin Akerman, who plays Silk Spectre, was a guest on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Monday.

* Fandango is reporting that 61 percent of its sales as of March 2 were for Watchmen. The advance ticket sales are called "strong" and better than Watchmen director Zack Synder's previous movie, 300.

SMALLVILLE: "INFAMOUS"

The CW has released 15 images from "Infamous," the Thursday, March 12 episode of Smallville.

Tori Spelling returns as Linda Lake in the episode.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Linda Lake returns to Metropolis and threatens to expose Clark's (Tom Welling) secret unless he promises to give her exclusive information on the red-blue blur so she can become a star reporter again. Refusing to be blackmailed, Clark tells Lois (Erica Durance) his secret and asks her to write his story for The Daily Planet."

"Infamous" was written by Caroline Dries and directed by Glen Winter.

DOLLHOUSE: "MAN ON THE STREET"

Fox has released a description and five images from "Man on the Street," the Friday, March 20 episode of Dollhouse.

Patton Oswalt, whose credits include Ratatouille and King of Queen, guest-stars in the episode.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

Echo becomes the perfect wife for a lonely internet mogul (guest star Oswalt), and Sierra's attacker is revealed. Meanwhile, Mellie's life is in danger and Agent Ballard's investigation takes a surprising turn when he comes face-to-face and goes fist-to-fist with Echo for the first very time."

THE SIMPSONS: "NO LOAN AGAIN, NATURALLY"

Fox has released a description and image from "No Lone Again, Naturally," the Sunday, March 8 episode of The Simpsons.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

"After too many years of financing Homer's annual Mardi Gras party on home equity loans, Homer and Marge's adjustable-rate mortgage skyrockets and they are forced to put their house up for sale. Flanders does a good deed by outbidding Mr. Burns and purchasing the property, thus becoming Homer and Marge's new landlord. But when Homer publicly accuses Flanders of neglecting the Simpsonsą unsafe living conditions, Flanders threatens to throw the family out on the streets."

* Bluewater Productions has announced that Paul J. Salamoff, a 20-year veteran of the film and television industry, will be writing new titles based on licensed properties to be released in late 2009.

Salamoff has completed writing on Black Scorpion and Deathstalker & Barbarian Queen, two four-issue series under the Roger Corman Presents banner.

* Marvel Comics has announced a second printing for the sold-out Thunderbolts #129. The new printing will feature a cover of Robert De La Torre and will be in stores on April 1.

* Image Comics has released a teaser image for The Astounding Wolf-Man #14.

* DC Comics has expanded the contents of the Final Crisis HC. Now running 352 pages, this title will include Final Crisis #1-7, Final Crisis: Submit #1 and Final Crisis: Superman Beyond #1-2, all written by Grant Morrison, along with a new cover by J.G. Jones depicting the penultimate scene of the series.

The book will be in stores in June 10 and will cost $29.99.

* Cartoon Network has announced the start of production on Ben 10: Alien Swarm , a live-action movie based on the animated series Ben 10 Alien Force and the propety created by Man of Action.

The movie, scheduled to air this fall, is written by John Turman and directed by Alex Winter. Ryan Kelly stars as Ben, with Barry Corbin as Grandpa Max, Galadriel Stineman as Gwen, Nathan Keyes as Kevin Levin and Alyssa Diaz as Elena.

Here's how the network describes the movie:

"Ben 10: Alien Swarm follows teenage hero Ben Tennyson as he breaks ranks from the Plumbers (a secret organization that battles alien forces) to help Elena, a mysterious young woman, uncover an alien threat to our world. Joining him on his adventures are Gwen and Kevin, super-powered heroes in their own right, who must trust each other's instincts to help save the day."
