NEW PRINTING FOR SEVEN SOLDIERS Seven Soldiers #0, the 48-page special written by Grant Morrison and illustrated by J.H. Williams III that leads into seven new mini-series, has sold out at DC Comics.
DC is sending the issue back to press for a second printing, which is scheduled to arrive in stores on April 20.
Seven Soldiers #0 Second Printing will feature a variant version of the original cover by Williams. The updated cover will feature the faces of the new Seven Soldiers team.
"Thanks to all the readers who took a chance on Seven Soldiers and helped the book become a hit," Morrison said. "No one was really sure how a story about super-hero losers and also-rans would be received, so the success of the project has been very gratifying. Much appreciated, and we hope readers will stick with us through the twists, turns and shocks that lie ahead!"
AIDEN McKAIN CHRONICLES: BATTLE FOR EARTH Adrian Sibar is joining writer Mark Chernesky and artist Alex Araiza to provide painted cover artwork to Digital Webbing's sci-fi mini-series, Aiden McKain Chronicles: Battle for Earth."
The first issue ships in June and will cost $2.99.
Here's how Digital Webbing describes the book:
"When a terrifying and violent race of aliens begin an attack on Earth that threatens the very survival of humanity itself, one man, Navy S.E.A.L. Aiden McKain, must come to terms with his heritage to realize he is humanities' last hope for survival in the ultimate battle for
Earth!"
"I wanted to tell a military/sci-fi type of story but I also wanted to
tell a story with a message. In Aiden McKain Chronicles: Battle for Earth, we are talking about an entire civilization having been basically
wiped out. Their culture and their way of life are gone. You can't do
that without there being some type of consequences,"
Chernesky said.

* Alias Enterprises has announced that the first issue of Lullaby: Wisdom Seeker has sold out from Image Comics.
"Obviously, we're excited," said Mike S. Miller, executive director for Alias and director / co-writer for the book. "When I first began working with artist/creator Hector Sevilla on this project last year, I knew it would be a title readers wouldn't want to miss. We've worked hard to shape Lullaby into an endearing story, and knowing that it's attracting this kind
of attention from readers and retailers makes it all worthwhile."
"Normally, we keep some copies on hand to sell at the summer conventions, but we've decided to use them to fill retailers' re-orders instead."
Lullaby: Wisdom Seeker #2, shown here, will be in stores on April 13.
* Coming Tuesday: Marvel news and much more!!!
