DC COMICS ROUNDUP

Frank Miller, writer of All Star Batman and Robin, the Boy Wonder, has again provided a variant cover, featuring Black Canary on #3.

The variant edition will be made available to retailers in a 1:10 ratio. The issue is due in stores on Nov. 30.

* Dan DiDio has been promoted to Senior Vice President -- Executive Editor, DC Universe, it was announced by Paul Levitz, DC Comics President & Publisher. DiDio will continue to report directly to Levitz.

"Dan has done an impressive job of bringing his personal energy and enthusiasm to the DC Universe, which has never been a more exciting destination for our readers," Levitz said. "Dan is leading a stellar line-up of creative talent in guiding the greatest collection of characters in popular culture, and I can't wait to see what they come up with next."

* Supergirl #2 has sold out.

"I can only tell you that if youve been enjoying the show, its about to get a lot wilder," writer Jeph Loeb said. "Issue #3 ‹ with spectacular covers by (Ian) Churchill and (Michael) Turner -- brings Supergirl up against someone we've been waiting for -- and his initials are L.L. And for those of you who've been following Infinite Crisis know -- yeah, I know it's only a few of you!) that it is not going to be pretty!"

* Patrick Caldon has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Finance and Operations of DC Comics and MAD Magazine.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #525 SECOND PRINTING

Amazing Spider-Man #525, the third chapter of "The Other" storyline running through the Spider-titles, will follow the first two chapters with a second printing variant after selling out.

This printing features a "Ben Reilly" variant by Mike Wieringo, following the same illustration of the first two variants, from Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #1 and Marvel Knights Spider-Man #19.

The second printing of Amazing Spider-Man #525 will reach stores on Nov. 30.

SCOT EATON EXCLUSIVE TO MARVEL

Scot Eaton, artist on Spectacular Spider-Man and Fantastic Four: House of M, has signed an exclusive with Marvel Comics.

"Marvel has the biggest sandbox and all the best toys, I'm jacked to be playing with them for the foreseeable future," Eaton said. "And as a freelancer who's worked in almost every system the industry offers, it's tough to explain how excited I am with what they've set up for me over the next year."

Eaton will be drawing Black Panther for editor Axel Alonso.

"We're thrilled to have Scot," Alonso said. "He is a gifted draftsman and an amazingly versatile storyteller. Scot's action scenes are phenomenal -- and he's going to get quite a workout on his first arc of Black Panther."
