JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED EPISODES

Cartoon Network has set a Saturday, Dec. 4 air date for "Ultimatum," the next new episode of Justice League Unlimited.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"The Justice League meets the Ultimen, a popular group of young heroes who are about to discover their own horrifying secret origins."

One of the members of the Ultimen is known as Wind Dragon.

Here's the rundown of episodes for November:

"This Little Piggy" at 1 p.m. and "The Return" at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6; "The Return" at 1 p.m. and "The Greatest Story Never Told" at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13; "The Greatest Story Never Told" at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14; "The Greatest Story Never Told" at 1 p.m. and "Initiation" at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20; "Initiation" at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21; "Initiation" at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27; "For the Man Who Has Everything" at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4.

TEEN TITANS EPISODES

The Teen Titans episode "Can I Keep Him?" will premiere on Saturday, Nov. 6 on Cartoon Network.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Starfire's new pet, a mutant silkworm named Silkie, experiences an incredible growth spurt after eating alien food from Tamaran. Starfire is not sure she can keep her monstrously large pet after all."

The episode is one of 67 broadcasts from Nov. 1-Dec. 5 of Teen Titans on Cartoon Network.

SMALLVILLE UPDATE

Jane Seymour has signed a deal for a five-episode arc on The WB's Smallville.

Seymour will play Jason Teague's mother, Genevieve, a rich, powerful Metropolis socialite who may hold the key to Lana's mysterious tattoo.

The arc will be part of Smallville's fourth season.

In other Smallville news, TV Guide Online is reporting that Wednesday's episode will include a tribute to Christopher Reeve, the movie Superman and Smallville guest-star who died Sunday night.

  • Upcoming episodes of Mutant X in syndication include "Lit Fuse" the week of Oct. 25 and "Double Vision" the week of Nov. 1. Both episodes are repeats from the show's first season.

  • Marvel Comics has announced the addition of John Dokes as the new Director of Marketing for Marvel Enterprises -- Publishing Division. In addition to being an alumni of Marvel Comics, Dokes has worked for Viacom's MTV Networks and launched key products for Volkswagen, Chrysler and Unilever.

    "In the beginning of my term here at Marvel, John was instrumental in launching our Marvel Knights division," said editor-in-chief Joe Quesada. "John is a great addition to the Marvel team."
