FOX'S 2008 TEEN CHOICE NOMINATIONS

Iron Man has been nominated four times for Fox's Teen Choice 2008 awards.

The film was nominated for Action/Adventure Movie, Robert Downey for Action/Adventure: Actor, Gwyneth Paltrow for Action/Adventure: Actress and Jeff Bridge for Action/Adventure Villain.

30 Days of Night was nominated for Horror/Thriller Film, with Josh Hartnett nominated for Horror/Thriller: Actor.

Smallville, Heroes and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles were nominated in TV Show: Action/Adventure. Acting nominations in that category went to Smallville's Tom Welling and Kristin Kreuk; Heroes' Milo Ventimiglia, Hayden Panettiere and Ali Larter and Terminator's Summer Glau.

Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum and Heroes' Zachary Quinto earned nominations as TV Villain.

Glau and Terminator castmate Thomas Dekker were Breakout Star nominees.

Teen Choics 2008 will air on Fox on Monday, August 4 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). Miley Cyrus will be the host.

BRIEFLY

* Lionsgate has provided The Continuum the first trailer for Punisher: War Zone, due in theaters on Dec. 5.

* Morgan Freeman, who is starring in Wanted and The Dark Knight, will be a guest on CBS' The Late Show with David Letterman on Friday, June 27.

* The Incredible Hulk remained on top of the box office on Tuesday, pulling in $4.8 million to push its total to $66.2 million. Iron Man placed seventh with $0.6 million, pushing its total to $299.3 million.
