SURROGATES GALLERY

Disney's Touchstone Pictures has released a gallery of 23 images from Surrogates, the film based on the Top Shelf comic arriving in theaters on Sept. 25.

Here's Touchstone describes the film:

"People are living their lives remotely from the safety of their own homes via robotic surrogates -- sexy, physically perfect mechanical representations of themselves. Itıs an ideal world where crime, pain, fear and consequences donıt exist. When the first murder in years jolts this utopia, FBI agent Greer (played by Bruce Willis) discovers a vast conspiracy behind the surrogate phenomenon and must abandon his own surrogate, risking his life to unravel the mystery."

The cast also includes Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, Boris Kodjoe, James Francis Ginty, Michael Cudlitz, James Cromwell and Ving Rhames.

Jonathan Mostow directed the film, which was produced by David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Max Handelman. The screenplay was written by John Brancato and Michael Ferris. Elizabeth Banks, who played Betty Brant in the Spider-Man movies, is one of the executive producers.

The images shown below include director Mostow and Surrogates comics creator Robert Venditti.
