Marvel news -- and much more!!!

FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER

The campaign for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer began to heat up over the weekend and continued on Monday with 20th Century Fox's release of a new poster and television spot.

The TV spot aired during Monday's episode of NBC's Heroes.

Over the weekend at the New York Comic Con, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer had prominent standing in the exhibitor's hall.

2K Games had a large booth next to Marvel Comics' at the convention to promote the video game based on the film. Posters were handed out, as well as mini-comics. Buses traveling around the Javits Center also promoted the game.

Hasbro also spotlighted its upcoming toys based on the movie as part of Marvel's booth.
