BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD: "LEGENDS OF THE DARK MITE"

The creators of Batman: The Brave and the Bold make an appearance in "Legends of the Dark Mite," the Friday, May 29 episode airing on Cartoon Network.

The scene -- definitely played for fanboy laughs -- shows Bat-Mite (voiced by Paul Reubens) moderating a panel from a Fifth Dimension convention and fielding questions from a group of Batman-clad audience members.

The panelists are taken from last summer's Brave and the Bold panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego. They're shown sitting in the same positions and wearing the same clothes.

The question asked was cobbled together from "message board haters" and is the creator's defense of the show's more humorous approach.

From left to right, the panelists are Andrea Romano, Dietrich Bader, Michael Chang, Ben Jones, Brandon Vietti, Michael Jelenic, James Tucker and Sam Register.

Paul Dini, who wrote the episode, and longtime Warner Bros. producer Bruce Timm are also in the episode.

IRON MAN: ARMORED ADVENTURES: "WHIPLASH"

"Whiplash," a new episode of Iron Man: Armored Adventures, is scheduled to air on Friday on Nictkoons.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Pepper Potts sets out to discover who put her father in the hospital. Her father, an FBI agent, had been track a myserious arms dealer named Mister Fix. When Pepper is abducted, Iron Man must save her from Fix's cybernetic hatchet man, Whiplash, all the while trying to hide his true identity from Mister Fix and Pepper."

Whiplash is voiced by Peter Kelamis.
