DOLLHOUSE: "GHOST"

Fox has released 13 new images and a description from "Ghost," the series premiere of Dollhouse scheduled for Friday, Feb. 13.

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

"Echo (Eliza Dushku) is an 'Active,' a member of a highly illegal and underground group of individuals who have had their personalities wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas. Hired by the wealthy, powerful and connected, the Actives don't just perform their hired roles; they wholly become -- with mind, personality and physiology -- whomever the client wants or needs them to be. Whether imprinted to be a lover, an assassin, a corporate negotiator or a best friend, the Actives know no other life than the specific engagements they are in at that time.

"In the series premiere episode, Echo is hired by a businessman to be the ultimate kidnapping negotiator when his young daughter is abducted. Meanwhile, FBI Agent Paul Ballard (Tahmoh Penikett) risks his career in his search for the elusive Dollhouse."

The episode was written and directed by Joss Whedon.

THE SIMPSONS: "TAKE MY LIFE, PLEASE"

The Simpsons will mark a pair of firsts with the Sunday, Feb. 15 episode on Fox.

The episode will be the first of the series to air in high definition and will also feature the first new main titles since the series' premiere.

The episode is titled "Take My Life, Please."

Here's how Fox describes the episode:

"When Mayor Quimby inducts Vance Connor into the Springfield Walk of Fame, Homer recounts how he ran against Vance for class president in high school and lost. After a little digging, Homer learns that the election had been rigged, and he wonders what course his life would have taken if only fate had smiled on him. Homer soon meets an old Italian cook at Luigi's Italian Restaurant whose magical tomato sauce, when stirred in just the right way, reveals what Homeršs life would have been like had he won the election. However, when Homer gets a chance to see what his life could have been, he wonders if fate was actually been on his side all along."
