TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES TO RETURN

Fox has picked up 13 episodes of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles for the 2008-2009 television season.

Brian Green, who guest-starred as Derek in the final episodes of Season 1, will become a cast regular, joining Lena Headey (Sarah), Summer Glau (Cameron) and Thomas Dekker (John).

The show currently ranks as the No. 1 new scripted series this season among Adults 18-49.

The first season ended on a cliffhanger, with Cameron caught in a car bomb an Sarah close to locating an important Skynet component.

Produced by C2 Pictures in association with Warner Bros. Television, the show is executive produced by Josh Friedman and John Wirth. James Middleton serves as consulting producer, with Toni Graphia serves as co-executive producer and Natalie Chaidez as a consulting producer.

THE SIMPSONS: "ANY GIVEN SUNDANCE"

Fox has released a promotional image from "Any Given Sundance," the Sunday, May 4 episode of The Simpsons.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Film director Jim Jarmusch guest-voices as himself. Lisa creates a documentary about the Simpson family for a school project, and is over the moon when it's accepted in the Sundance Film Festival. But at the premiere, Homer, Marge and Bart are embarrassed by the candid, behind-the-scenes look at their lives."

* Marvel Comics has released Jim Cheung's cover images to Marvel: 1985.

The first issue of the six-issue series, by Mark Millar and Tommy Lee Edwards, will be in stores on May 14.

* DC Comics is resoliciting Loveless Vol. 3: Blackwater Falls TP. The trade will be expanded to include issues #22-24, which will be the final issues of the series.

* DC is going back to press for a second printing of Batman: The Killing Joke Special Edition HC.

* Warner Home Video has set a July 15 release for DC Super Heroes: The Filmation Adventures, a two-disc set featuring 18 episodes.

* Valiant Entertainment announced it is releasing the X-O Manowar: Birth hardcover edition on Wednesday, one week earlier than originally planned.

* Shout! Factory will release Swamp Thing: The Series Volume 2 on July 15. The four-DVD collection features 25 episodes from Season 3 of the TV series that aired on USA Network.
