BLUEWATER PRODUCTIONS FOR SEPTEMBER

Bluewater Productions has provided The Continuum its solicitations for September.

For a rundown, with images, CLICK HERE.

WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN: PETER LURIE

Sabretooth make his first appearance in the Wolverine and the X-Men animated series in "Past Discretions," Friday's episode on Nicktoons.

Sabretooth is voiced by Peter Lurie, a veteran voice performer with dozens of commercial, animation and video game credits.

"I was very lucky to work on this project, as it was one of the best animated scripts I've read," Lurie told The Continuum. "Sabretooth is a great character for the obvious back story with Wolverine. Hopefully, we will be able to explore that further."

Lurie originally voiced Sabretooth in three video games.

"Villains are always fun to do, and Victor Creed is no exception," Lurie said. "As you watch his confrontations with Logan, you can't help but know there has to be more to the story than what we are initially seeing.

"I felt the trained soldier has to come through, along with the cold and calculating feel of the animal.

"Our business can definitely be a lot of fun. I can only hope the fans have a good time with the character."

Here's how the network describes the "Past Discretions" episode:

"Logan is haunted by an eerie dream, a remnant of his fragmented memories. To get to the bottom of what happened to him, he enlists the help of Emma Frost. With her assistance, Logan is able to locate and return to the place in his dreams. But he should never have returned, because now his past knows where to find him. The past takes the form of Sabretooth and the shadowy organization that Logan used to work for: Weapon X."

The episode was written by Paul Giacoppo and directed by Steve Gordon.

BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD FOR JUNE

Cartoon Network will air four new episodes of Batman: The Brave and the Bold in June.

Following is a rundown:

Friday, June 5: "Hail the Tornado Tyrant!"

Red Tornado attempts to create a being that will posess the one thing he lacks: human emotion. His experiment goes awry after an attack from Major Disaster and his "Tornado Champion" quickly turns to the dark side as "Tornado Tyrant."

Friday, June 12: "Duel of the Double Crossers!"

When Mongul recruits Jonah Hex to bring new gladiators to War World, the old west bounty hunter wrangles the Dark Knight. After a change of heart, Hex and Batman team up to take down the violent empire.

Friday, June 19: "The Last Bat on Earth!"

Gorilla Grodd travels to the future where intelligent animals rule humans -- Batman follows him and teams with Kamandi (the last boy on Earth) to bring him down.

Friday, June 26: "When OMAC Attacks!"

The all-American fighting machine OMAC is pitted against the equally destructive Shrapnel in a chaotic fight to the finish, but the architect behind the battle is the mysterious, balance-obsessed villain Libra.
