JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED DVD

The Justice League Unlimited: Season 1 DVD, due in stores on Oct. 24, includes "And Justice For All," a behind-the-scenes featurette.

Running about nine minutes, "And Justice For All" features interviews with the series' primary creators, including producers Bruce Timm, James Tucker and Dwayne McDuffie, story editor Stan Berkowitz and directors Dan Riba and Joaquim dos Santos.

A main theme in the piece is the decision to expand the Justice League from the previous two seasons for Unlimited and how that impacted story telling and casting.

McDuffie said that DC Comics "bent over backwards" in helping the producers use many of the publisher's characters. "They really rarely said no to us," he said. "They really let us go nuts on their guys and it was pretty cool."
