HEROES: MASI OKA

Masi Oka, who returns as Hiro Nakamura for Season 4 of NBC's Heroes, said his character begins the next volume of the series in a unique situation.

"He's going through an illness, possibly a terminal illness," Oka said. "He gets that kind of bad news and realizes what his true destiny in life is. And he starts out this volume by going back to Yamagato (Industries) and starts out a new business with his best friend, Ando. And it kind of goes awry.

"It's about Hiro's journey in terms of what he does with what he thinks in his last few days or possibly, weeks or months or hours."

Added Heroes creator Tim Kring, "Beileve it or not, it's fun."

Heroes kicks off its new season with two episodes, "Orientation" and "Jump, Push, Fall," on Monday, Sept. 21.
