GEORGES JEANTY TALKS BUFFY

At last weekend's Heroes Con in Charlotte, N.C., The Continuum caught up with Georges Jeanty, who talked about his new gig as artist of Dark Horse Comics' Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

MARVEL MOVIE/TV ROUNDUP

Newly released pictures by WireImage indicate that two key players from Spider-Man will be involved in Spider-Man 3.

Cliff Robertson is returning as Uncle Ben and Michael Papajohn is back as the burglar who apparently killed him. Robertson and Pajajohn were photographed with Thomas Haden Church, who is playing Flint Marko/Sandman.

* As had been previously announced, Mark Protosevich is writing the Thor movie, Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige told The Continuum.

Over the weekend at a Marvel panel at Heroes Con, J. Michael Straczynski said that the trades were reporting that David Goyer was attached to the film. That isn't the case, according to Marvel.

Goyer is working with Marvel Studios on Blade: The Series. He is also developing The Flash as a feature film for Warner Bros.

* Iron Man director Jon Favreau attended the screening of Ultimate Avengers 2 at the Los Angeles Film Festival on Sunday.

MARVEL ZOMBIES COLLECTED

Marvel Comics on Wednesday released cover to the Marvel Zombies hardcover collection.

The new cover features Arthur Suydam's zombie homage to the cover of Secret Wars #1.

Marvel Zombies HC collects all five issues of the mini-series by Robert Kirkman and Sean Phillips, along with a host of extras.

The oversized treatment includes every cover that graced a Marvel Zombies issue, including the variant covers of the multiple back-to-press issues. along with the covers of the classic issues those covers pay homage to.

The 136-page book will go on sale August 9 and will cost $19.99.
