ASPEN'S CIVIL WAR: X-MEN COVER

Aspen MLT on Wednesday announced the world premiere release of the Aspen Comics Exclusive Variant Cover to Marvel Comics' Civil War: X-Men #1 for Comic-Con International at San Diego.

The alternate cover edition, featuring Michael Turner's first take on the X-Men, will be available at the Aspen Comics Booth throughout the convention. This follows the release of Aspen's exclusive cover to Marvel's Civil War #1.

"We knew beforehand because of the hugely popular assortment of Marvel characters involved in Civil War #1, that the Aspen Comics exclusive variant would do well," said Frank Mastromauro, Aspen's executive vice president. "But the book's success went well beyond our wildest expectations. Now, Marvel has thrown the X-Men into the mix so we're gearing up for a huge release."

Aspen also will be releasing a San Diego Con Edition variant cover to its newest comic, Soulfire: Chaos Reign #0.
