WITCHBLADE'S FIRST BORN ARTISTS

Top Cow Productions announced on Friday that the three Witchblade issues tying into this summerıs First Born will each feature a special guest penciler.

Witchblade #110 will be penciled by Matt Haley, #111 by Stephen Sadowski and #112 by Rick Leonardi.

All three issues will be written by Ron Marz, with inks by Kevin Nowlan and covers by Mike Mayhew.

"We wanted to make these issues something special, since they tie in to a storyline in First Born that is really going to reshape the Top Cow universe," said writer Ron Marz. "Getting pencilers like Matt Haley, Steve Sadowski and Rick Leonardi qualifies as pretty special in my book, but then to have Kevin Nowlan agree to ink all three ... well, that was beyond any of our wildest dreams. These issues are going to be absolutely beautiful."

"The effects of First Born will be most readily felt in Witchblade, due to the nature of the story and the characters involved," said Rob Levin, Top Cow's vice-president of editorial. "To drive home the importance of the event, we decided to pull out all the stops and get three of the best pencilers in the game today in Haley, Sadowski and Leonardi. Not done there, we managed to sign up Kevin Nowlan, a fantastic artist in his own right and one of the all-time great inkers to tackle the whole arc. And Mike Mayhew... He knows a thing or two about how to grab attention with a cover."
